VIRTUAL REALITY: A STORY OF A REFUGEE STUDENT
Watch a 10 minute virtual reality story in which you follow the journey of a 12-year-old girl learning, playing and growing up in a refugee camp. This story will be followed by an open discussion on the intersection of refugee and internally displaced students with the FGLI identity.

Book summary:
Travel with a young refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo on a journey of resilience and growth. He lives in two refugee camps. He strives to get education and to empower himself and his peers in the camp. Disruptions and depressing situations are daily realities — until they are not. Entangled in the "refugee life", burdensome bureaucracy and inhospitable immigration laws, is there Hope for a young refugee?
